The H2coop project, launched in September 2020, aims to develop methodological tools and software for the deployment and management of a “multi-energy” energy community (electricity, heat, hydrogen) by integrating hybrid storage (electrochemical and fuel cell) to meet daily and seasonal energy storage needs.
Hydrogen storage is cleaner than lithium or lead batteries but is also riskier.
It is, therefore, important to work on the research and development of this solution, which seems to have an interest in the energy transition.
Can you imagine a reversible fuel cell that transforms hydrogen into electricity and vice versa?
This innovative European ERANET project will continue until 2022.
